Scryer is then seen holding an assault rifle, having no knowledge of his past with Mindgate whatsoever. Suddenly, Scryer has his mind wiped and before he loses his memory completely, he experiences flashes of past missions and his experience with using his powers. In the science fiction novel Three Days to Never by Tim Powers one character is a psychic spy, but also blind, using her Remote Viewing to see normally through the eyes of others. Scryer is weak and disoriented, the doctor's and general's voices distorted due to such. In the video games Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy and Second Sight, the main characters have remote viewing as one of their abilities. An unnamed doctor and unnamed military general are present, discussing Scryer's past and his affiliation with Mindgate, a secret organization whose operatives experiment with psi-powers on the field. The game starts with psi agent Nick Scryer secured to a medical chair, being pumped with what appears to be morphine. It was released in North America on Jand released in Europe on October 1 2004.
